Vertical Connection Guiding · Group day information

A guided climbing day for your group

A day that challenges your group physically and mentally, in new and different ways, in Vermont, New Hampshire or northern New York.

The day

  • A full day runs seven hours. A half day runs four hours, at Vermont crags.
  • One guide works with up to six climbers. A second guide is arranged for groups over six.
  • Climbing shoes, helmets, harnesses, ropes, hardware and the anchor system are all provided.
  • Instruction and a climbing objective, matched to your group and the terrain.
  • Minors need to be accompanied by an adult.
  • Each climber's forms are completed online before the day.

Cost

Team, school and nonprofit days are quoted per day, in writing. The written quote lists what the day includes. An organization pays 50% when the agreement is signed, and the balance is invoiced 30 days before the day. The signed agreement sets the cancellation terms.

Safety and qualifications

The American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) trains guides in three stages: Apprentice, Assistant, then Certified. Noah is an AMGA Apprentice Rock, Alpine and Ski Guide and a certified AMGA Single Pitch Instructor.

Every guide holds current Wilderness First Responder and CPR certification.

Available in writing
